Dümmen Orange celebrates innovation hub for Latin American growers

Bogotá, Colombia — Dümmen Orange recently celebrated the official inauguration of its new location in Bogotá, The Orange Garden, during a memorable event that brought together customers, partners, and key representatives of the floriculture industry.

The inauguration marked an important milestone for Dümmen Orange in Latin America, establishing a dedicated one-stop shop for cut flower genetics and innovation, where growers can explore the company’s portfolio of roses, carnations, dianthus barbatus, limonium, gerberas, callas and chrysanthemums in a single location.

The opening ceremony welcomed customers, strategic partners, and institutional representatives, including the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, highlighting the strong relationship between the Netherlands and Colombia within the global floriculture sector.

Among the distinguished attendees were Reina Buijs, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, along with Johan Van’t Hag, COO Cut Flowers at Dümmen Orange, and Bas Pellenars, Commercial Director LATAM at Dümmen Orange.

The celebration was followed by an Open House held from March 9 to 13, where hundreds of growers visited the new location to discover the latest varieties and explore the future of floriculture through Dümmen Orange’s genetics and breeding innovations.

Throughout the week, visitors had the opportunity to experience the company’s full portfolio and engage directly with the commercial and technical teams, reinforcing Dümmen Orange’s long-term commitment to supporting the development of the Colombian floriculture industry.

With the opening of The Orange Garden, Dümmen Orange strengthens its presence in one of the most important flower-growing regions in the world and continues building closer connections with growers across Latin America.
