As a Research Assistant Plant Physiology, you play a key role in supporting the development and execution of research projects that drives product and process innovation across our breeding programs. Your work directly supports our Plant Physiology team in generating high-quality data, refining pipelines, developing protocols, and deepening our understanding of plant responses to abiotic stress - helping us deliver innovation, quality, and value to growers and partners worldwide.

Your tasks and/or responsibilities include:
- Strengthen our freedom to operate through collection of public and private information and processing this through literature reports;
- Design and execute experiments in a timely fashion;
- Collect data in a quantitative manner with respective down-stream processing;
- Data visualization and report writing according to scientific method;
- Manage deadline and update project team in a fixed interval schedule.
Your profile
You are proactive, analytical and critical in conducting research projects, but also market-oriented as we are targeting at the customers. You communicate clearly, work accurately, and thrive in a dynamic and multidisciplinary research environment.
Furthermore you:
- have a BSc in Biology, Plant Physiology, Plant Sciences, Plant Breeding, or a related field;
- are familiar with plant cultivation (preferably both in vitro and in vivo), plant phenotyping, laboratory techniques (e.g., microscopy, tissue staining), and basic statistical analysis using R;
- have experience in scientific documentation, data processing and reporting;
- are motivated and creative with ability to think outside the box;
- are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
